"Located in the upper rooms of Urgup's historic han (caravansaray), Muti Restaurant takes the place of the former Prokopia Restaurant.
It's cool to dine in a real Cappadocian caravansaray, but better than this, the cuisine is refined and delicious, the service attentive. The cuisine what might be called "inventive Turkish fusion:" the chef creates interesting and unusual combinations you have probably not tasted before, and may not taste anywhere else. Prices fit the quality of the meal. Menus are available in both Turkish and English.
In fair weather, the historic caravansaray courtyard below becomes an open-air bar/lounge good for a pre- or post-prandial drink.
Look for Muti across from Urgup's main square, in the shadow of the dramatic Temenni Hill. Muti was new in early 2012, so the thing to do was to ask a local for directions to Prokopia, its predecessor in this location."
